Welcome to Autism Social Care's, Parent and Family Support Group, currently held at Manchester Carers Centre. Support is offered and provided by parents of children affected by Autismto parents, siblings and families, who care for children/young people affected by Autism. The main aims and services for our group are to provide information, support, advice and emotional support, to parents and familes of individuals affected by Autism.

We at, Autism Social Care understand, have experienced and have faced many struggles, which often parents and families face when caring for individuals with Autism. Which ultimately places us in, an excellent position to offer families support and relevant advice. Having a vast amount of knowledge, experience, skills and empathy, we encourage and support parents and families to understand their rights and how to access services.

At our support group, parents, carers, siblings and families, can take the opportunity to gain identification with other parents and families who care for individuals affected by Autism. Often, parents at the group discuss their lives and experiences of  caring for and advocating for their child or adult.

Parents and carers are welcome to,  just ‘pop in’ to the welcoming group which is held  fortnightly on a Friday, between 12 and 2pm, within a safe, empathetic and confidential environment.
