Support Services for children and adults affected by Autism. Autism Social Care strives towards better opportunities for children and adult's affected by Autism and Aspergers. We believe that fun should be universal and are therefore, dedicated to providing safe and meaningful opportunities to children and adults affected by Autism. Autism Social Care provide specialist, one to one support services, to enable individuals affected by Autism to access mainstream activities. Often, children and adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism, don't get the same opportunities to take part in everyday leisure and community activities, as other people. Yet, this is an essential part of development for all children and adults. Support services and activities are tailored around an individual’s needs, age, preferences and choices. Popular choices include pony rides, trampolining, country walks, ball parks and shopping. Children and adults are supported by specialist staff within the community, whilst being encouraged to develop a positive and safe relationship with consistent and continuous support workers. Whilst children and adults are well supported ‘out and about and having fun’, parents, carers and/or siblings, can take the opportunity to enjoy a well earned break from their usual caring roles. Extra support services, including 2:1 support can be provided to individuals who require extra support. | | Contact: 0161 681 2475 / 01625 262471 |
