About us
Autism Social Care is a Social Enterprise, dedicated to making positive
changes to the lives of children and adults affected by Autism and Asperger's. We are naturally commited to working in line with current legislations, to protect
children and vulnerable adults.
Autism Social Care was developed due to the lack of ASD specialist, community
support services, available to individual's with Autism and /or associated conditions. Unfortunately, opportunities for individuals with Autism- accessing
everyday activities, such as; going to the park, sensory rooms, or going to work, can
be very limited.
Our Management Team consists of experienced, skilled and knowledgeable parents
of individuals with Autism. We are organised, caring and have extensive experience
of caring and organising care for individuals with Autism and associated conditions.
Our view is that 'those small steps' achieved, can become large milestones.
We believe every person has the abilitiy to achieve their full potential and that
potential and ability can sometimes be hidden within the 'Autistic world', which
should not be the case.
We fully understand and are aware of the differences between Autism
and Aspergers Syndrome and how the condition can affect individuals, in
very different ways. What may be right for one person, is not necessarily right
for the next.
A holistic approach, is we believe, the best approach. We therefore, encourage
and promote service providers to work closely and effectively. We are happy to
liase with other organisations or support networks, if the families or parent carers,
wishes us to do so.
